Satya meva jayate
Well been wanting to write for a while. But never found the urge to do it. Thought I need to write more often and making an attempt at it. (My first blog from the iPad as well).
coming to the topic, this new show by Aamir khan is worth a watch, despite some of its commercial angles ( but that's needed to get the message across and keep the show running I guess). Good topics, well researched by his team and covering almost all angles. The episodes thus far on female foeticide, paedophilia, dowry and abuse of the medical profession were well covered. Kudos to the courage that these victims have shown to express themselves on national television. But as I keep watching one episode after another, I somehow get the feeling that the anchor possibly needs to give the affected parties a chance to express themselves when they are on the show - today somehow thought that the current chief of medical council of india was not allowed to express himself freely during the show. He was posed questions and when he started replying, he first accepted the issues at hand, but somehow seemed wanting to give better clarity on why they are so, which the anchor kinda cut short. Don't know if it was intended or not but definitely came across that way. That's the possibly one issue I have with this show.
But hope this does bring about the change the right way. Hope it does not aggravate the issues at hand.
